Having worked for over a decade for a placement agency, Jessie learned that a human approach is vital to connecting talented employees to successful companies. After nearly ten years, Défis RH has discovered and placed impactful talent in leading Canadian businesses and helped diverse candidates all over the country secure meaningful employment and create a lasting work-life balance.

Jessie Fortin

Jessie began her career in a placement agency in 2004, where she thrived off challenges and helped humans find jobs that helped create their best life. After working eleven years for a prominent corporation, she intended to provide candidates and companies with a more personalized and humancentric approach. She left the security of her position to boldly launch Défis RH and deliver comprehensive recruiting services to individuals and businesses, seeking the exact meaningful change she desired in her life.

Madeleine Philion

Madeleine is a talent acquisition expert with more than twelve years of diverse industry experience. She joined Défis RH to oversee the Skilled Trades Division and expand the human-first recruiting approach that connects the highest quality talent to the most respected Canadian companies. Madeleine has a keen eye for talent that integrates well with growing teams and provides lasting impact within distinct organizations. She is an active listener that provides candid insight so candidates and companies can discover the most valuable solutions

Brigitte Dupuis

Brigitte Dupuis is an experienced Human Resource expert with extensive experience working in distinct industries and company sizes. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. Throughout her career, making a difference in organizations and the lives of its employees has inspired Brigitte. So she prioritizes an empathetic approach to human resource management and developed expertise in all business facets, including strategic planning, conflict resolution, company culture, talent retention, and employee management. Brigitte and Jessie met while collaborating on a recruiting project and have developed a solid professional relationship built on a shared business ideology that centers on a human approach to recruiting and cultivating meaningful and lasting relationships. Their mutual love for helping businesses and employees inspired the two female leaders to join forces for good. In May of 2023, Brigitte joined Jessie at Défis RH to expand its service offering and strengthen its ability to deliver comprehensive human resource management support to their growing business clients.

Tania is a Talent Acquisition Specialist with over ten years of recruiting experience. She has spent half of the last decade recruiting in international locations, fostering genuine and lasting relationships between leading professionals and distinguished companies. Tania is passionate about discovering exceptional international talent and connecting them with preeminent businesses. Her expertise and industry knowledge has empowered her to support diverse companies seeking skilled candidates worldwide.

Marie-Claude Thibault

Marie-Claude is a passionate recruiter with fifteen years of headhunting experience in several industries. She prioritizes a human-first candidate experience and provides dedicated support for executive management. Marie-Claude is dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction with intuition and empathy, consistently guiding her approach.

Yan Farah-Lajoie

Yan stands out from the crowd with his rich career spanning over two decades in manufacturing, services, and technology. To his roles, Yan brings a unique combination of expertise in leadership, purchasing, and strategy. A graduate in psychology, he is committed to making a difference, one individual at a time. Yan brings the people-first philosophy of Défis RH to recruit exceptional talent for purchasing, sales, and technology roles.
