For nearly two decades, Jessie Fortin has shaped a career history driven by accepting new challenges and helping humans discover career paths that lead to their best life. After working for over ten years for a prominent company, she realized she could provide a more personalized and human approach to recruiting. So in 2015, Jessie launched Défis RH to help clients and candidates create meaningful change like she did in her life.

For the last eight years, Jessie and her team have built Défis RH into a company recognized for placing top-tier talent in leading Canadian businesses. The new year brings a new logo, website, and newsletter. “It was time to revamp the Défis RH brand to reflect the company’s amazing evolution and communicate its true intentions forward,” says Jessie. Montreal-based digital marketing firm Tansley Inc. took the lead in developing the redesigned brand elements and the strategy to communicate the company’s brand narrative.

The new logo reflects how far Défis RH has come and its methodology to provide clients and candidates with exceptional human-focused recruiting services. The mark possesses a minimalist aesthetic anchored by a royal purple lowercase “r” embedded inside a baby blue lowercase “h.” The letter combination communicates how working with Défis RH leads to an exciting career path shift. The slight angles of the top and bottom of the “h” evoke a feeling of motion and create an entry point inside the arches of the “h” to depict future possibilities. The company name “Défis” anchors the logo with the angles of the “e,” “f,” “I,” and “s,” matching the tips of the “h” and “r” above. The mark is a refreshing take on recruiting that communicates why Défis RH’s methodology is distinct from its competition.

The new Défis RH website and newsletter extend the unique aesthetic and brand story. The website provides vital information about the company and its new service offerings. In addition, the bi-monthly newsletter delivers relevant news, valuable insights, and engaging success stories every other month. Défis RH believes that sharing its knowledge and values strengthens the company’s relationship with its clients, partners, and candidates. In addition, open communication gives the Défis RH team more opportunities to be vulnerable by sharing their knowledge, perspectives, and experiences.
